Building Process
What is the building process?
The Ganser Construction, Inc. step-by-step building process
We will meet with you to discuss building needs, desires, and dreams for your new home; complete a field inspection of the lot with you to determine suitability for building; and discuss time frame of completing your new home.
We will work with you to design and have building plans drawn, discuss home features, and the preliminary costs involved.
We will meet with you and review the building proposal and determine a building schedule
We will assist you as you make selections for your new home
We encourage you to visit the site often and talk with us about anything you don't understand or any questions that you may have.
When your home is finished we will have an orientation, familiarizing you with the operation of your new home and furnish you with a homeowner's manual for future reference.
Company Hours, Evening Appointment
What are your hours? Will you do appointments in the evenings or on the weekends?
Our hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. We believe that both our employees and clients are important, and we schedule our evening and weekend appointments on an appointment only basis.
Construction
Are new homes as well built as older homes?
Data from the National Association of Home Builders suggest that one of the benefits of choosing new home construction is the focus on energy efficiency. Many advances in materials like windows, heating and cooling equipment, insulation, and sealing techniques, mean that new homes consume roughly half as much energy as homes built prior to 1980.
Estimates
Do you charge for estimates?
We offer the following in house services at no charge:
An initial meeting with client; a needs, wants, and desires analysis; a selection of home plan to be customized; and a field inspection of prospective house lot with client to determine suitability for building.
Do you charge for home plans?
As part of our step-by-step building process, Ganser Construction will meet with you without charge. The architect is reimbursed for cost incurred in during production of home plans.
